NorthWind Fine Arts is pleased to announce members Heidi Gutersloh and Mary Woodcock Johnson as our paired Featured Artists for the October exhibit, “Reflections”.

Heidi Gutersloh, a founding member of NorthWind, paints with oil in a fine, realistic style. 

“Representational art is what I’ve always loved and gravitated towards. My subject matter varies in all different directions, with never a one consistent topic in mind."

Mary Woodcock Johnson's lovely paintings focus on the world around her, oftentimes outside in nature. 

In describing how the theme for this show came to be, she says that there are certainly pieces of work that have literal reflections in them. While at the same time, “Reflection is also looking at a scene and finding deeper meaning, for myself as an artist.

This collaboration brings together a variety of both artist’s work, from travels to local vistas to still lifes. Their contrasting visions and methods inspire a second look, at the reflections one sees every day.
